Week 37 - BEST SUNDAY EVER!!

Hello my dear friends and family!! Hope you've had a great week! Things here in Guadeloupe have been going SO well!

Tuesday was awesome because a recent convert in our area, Junior, came to our district counsel! He shared his thoughts and story of conversion. I learned so much from him. He talked about how it was nothing that the missionaries said that converted him to the Gospel, but it was all about the love he was able to feel through them, their patience, and the spirit he felt in the lessons.

Also this week we had exchanges! This time we stayed in our area and the sister training leaders came to us! It was SUPER fun and we had tons of cool things happen! On Thursday night we went out to eat some super good grilled chicken and fries. We were accidently given one serving too many, but the vendors refused to let us return it. Then, this sweet little old woman comes walking up to us all asks us if we're missionaries. We say yes, and she tells us that she has visited Temple Square before! She asks if she can sit down and eat with us, and of course it clicks in our heads that we were totally given that one extra serving for HER! So we offer her the food and we talk for a long time about the gospel. She was the sweetest and we had a really good conversation!

On Saturday, one of the members who works with us ALL the time got a really bad flu. We felt like we should call her that morning, and she told us she was there with one other member to clean the whole church. So we decide to show up and help her clean, and the look on her face was priceless! She told us she had prayed that morning for Heavenly Father to send her angels to help her accomplish all she had to do, and she knows that we were those angels sent to help her! It's so amazing getting to see how much the spirit can work through us to serve and bless others :)

I said in the title that Sunday was the best ever because we had two AMAZING friends at church, two less active families come, and a part member family that we haven't taught yet, but will this week! They are all so sweet and it was seriously one of the best sundays! We've worked so hard in our area and have been striving to be exactly obedient in all things, and we know we're being so blessed for that :)

I think those are the main highlights of the week!! I hope you all have a WONDERFUL week and that you had a happy valentine's day!! Sending love! :)

Bisous,
Soeur Gardner
